It's Sunday Night !

Five Things I Am Happy About Right Now:

1. Longer days with light!!

2. Knowing it will be nice and warm by the end of the week!

3. A four day work week!

4. Being prepared for teaching tomorrow. It is my second week with my new students!

5. The Power of Prayer !

Great Monday !!

There have been some wonderful changes in my life lately! The past week as a 38 year old has been fabulous.

I started a new job today! I am teaching reading to first and fifth graders. I am teaching in the district I have been subbing in for the past four years. I just earned my literacy certification and I am so thrilled to have this job. I am working for this wonderful teacher who is now on maternity leave. I am so excited for this opportunity and this teacher really made my transition into this job smooth!

I also came home today with a new car. I have been looking at cars since January. Being patient was difficult for me and I am thrilled with my new Honda! I was so excited driving home from the dealership today!

I have a lot to be happy about and grateful for today. Praise God!

1. DH bought me a Keurig for my B-day!

2. Spending time shopping with Mom!

3. A yummy pasta dinner!

4. Birthday cake!

5. Spring is almost here!

I am 38 today!

It has been a wonderful birthday weekend!

I went to the spa yesterday with my Mom. Then we shopped and had lunch. I bought myself a few nice things for the spring. Today the DH gave me some awesome gifts and he took me to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch. It was yummy!

Birthdays a great. I have yummy sweet treats and I also get to reflect on how far I have come in a year!

2. My sweet, strong, Gram ( God rest her precious soul ) was born in this month.. so that makes it all the more bittersweet!

3. Yes, the snow is still a flying .. but March always reminds me that spring is fast approaching!

4. Who doesn't love St. Patrick's Day??

5. It is Nations Women's History Month! GIRL POWER !

6. Let's hear it for Dr. Seuss who was born on March 2nd!

7. Daylight savings begins this month!

8. I get to say "Beware the Ides of March!" all day long on March 15th!
