Friday the 13th

It has been an interesting day! I was up late last night because sadly, there was a plane crash in my hometown. I was very sad to finally find out from the news that there were 48 people on the plane. I kept saying prayers that it was just a small plane with no passengers. I have been sending prayers to all those family members all morning.

I am not happy with the news right now, either. They were on the air until I went to bed talking about the crash. Then of course, they were on the news all morning - both local and national news. It is sad news and a major event, but I am saddened for the families that there is so much news and speculation.

On a more positive note, I am not working today. I am going to lunch with my sweet hubby! We are going to Cheesecake Factory. We have been so good with not eating out that much during December and January. I am very excited. It is part of our Valentine's weekend! It will b a nice treat.
