First Swim of the Year !

I had a VERY busy day in the classroom where I have been since last Tuesday. It has been enjoyable and I like the students. Today I had centers and the kids were going from one activity to the next. Oh, and a fire drill was thrown in today, too!

By lunchtime I felt like my head was spinning, which is funny because today I was planning on spinning! As I walked out of school this afternoon, I realized how beautiful it was outside. I know I could not pass this day up (because it will be cooler & rainy the next two days). I headed home for the sunblock and then over to my Mom's to the pool!

It was my first swim of the summer! I did a cannon ball into the pool. I was hilarious. I then did my laps which I have not done since September. even though I spin, I must say swimming sure works the muscles that I have not used in a long time! It felt wonderful and a great way to end a busy & stressful day!

As always I plan to spend at least two days a week in the pool swimming my laps and just plain enjoying the water. I am a Pisces after all!
