My car lease is up next week on Feb 1st. I have a decision to make regarding a new car.

I went to the place where I leased from to test drive their 4 wheel drive car. It was nice, but it did not say " GET ME" as I drove it. Plus the back window was soooo small and my vision was blocked. The salesman actually said, "Well, who uses their rear view mirror on the thruway anyways?" SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The salesman even showed me the more expensive version (YEAH- NOT HAPPENING) with a camera that shows the area behind the car in the mirror when you have the car in reverse. I guess he did not hear me when I said, " I do not need bells and whistles, I need a good car that handles well in the snow."

Yes, this is my life!

Next, I test drive the RAV 4. I have been looking at this car for awhile and I REALLY LOVED it! I plan to return to this dealership on Thursday night. I really like this car and think they are going to give me a great deal. Plus I loved how friendly they were. They listened to me and were not pushy like that other place!

So last night after a day of work, the gym, and grocery shopping... I arrive home. The DH pull up google news on his pc and here is the top headline:

Yes, this is the way my life works. I have to turn in my leased car next Monday.. and as of right now I cannot get a car b/c the car I want is not being sold until they fix a safety issue (which if course I think is great that they are that concerned that they are doing this for the safety of others - and of course not to be sued in the future!) ..... BUT SERIOUSLY!!!!!!
